Abstract
A method and an extended spectrum device to protect and authenticate digital information transmitted wirelessly using numerous techniques. The apparatus may be a multiple-division code-by-code (CDMA) communications system, a base station, a wireless transmission / reception unit (WTRU), a transmitter, a receiver, and / or an integrated circuit (IC) . The wireless CDMA communication system includes a transmitter that embeds digital information in stereographic form on a CDMA communication signal and transmits the CDMA communication signal wirelessly. The system also includes a receiver that receives a CDMA communication signal and extracts the digital information embedded in steganographic form from the received CDMA communication signal.
