abstract “method for encoding and method for decoding lut and corresponding devices†a method for encoding a lut defined as a lattice of vertices is disclosed. at least one value is associated with each vertex of the truss. the method comprises for the current vertex: predicting the at least one value associated with the current vertex from another value that is, for example, obtained from reconstructed values associated with neighboring vertices; and encoding into a bitstream at least one computed residue between the at least one current vertex value and its prediction into a bitstream.
