METHOD FOR TARGET USER EQUIPMENT TO SEND LOCATION REPORT

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for processing the location report from the object user equipment. The method includes: the object UE is located in the first CN of the LCS system and reports the location report to the LCS system; if the object UE doesnt receive the location report response returned from the LCS then the object UE is located in the second CN of the LCS system and continues report the said location report to the LCS system. It avoids wasting the location service system resource and at the same time raises the execution efficiency of the location service. In addition in the process of the processing the area changed location information request according to the invention it can insure the normality of post processing to the area changed location information request raise the execution efficiency of the location service; and saves the message alternating between the functional entities in the abnormal circumstance avoids the public land mobile network resource wasting because of the generation of numerous useless message.
