Abstract
A method is provided for the transmission of system information in a wireless communication system, by means of the distributed unit (DU) of a base station and an apparatus for supporting said method. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving, from a central unit (CU) of a base station, the system information owned by the CU of the base station; reception, from a terminal, of a request for the system information, reception, from the CU of the base station, of a message requesting the system information, and the transmission of the requested system information.
