Abstract  Abstract

The invention provides a method for determining the length set of the zero correlation zone, which includes: determining the length of the root sequence; selecting a zero correlation zone length set, for any sub-district radius, the maximum number of the lead determined by one zero correlation zone length selected from the selected zero correlation zone length set is mostly adjacent to the maximum number of the lead determined by any one zero correlation zone length selected from the set of all integers, wherein the maximum number of the lead is determined by the length of the root sequence and the length of the selected zero correlation zone. The invention provides also an apparatus, base station and mobile communication system for determining the length set of the zero correlation zone. In the invention, the selected ZCZ length finite set should conform to a definite condition, thereby providing a technical scheme of selecting a comparatively good ZCZ length finite set, and decreasing the signaling spending.
