Abstract
The invention claims a broadcast transmission system for ETWS (Earthquake and Tsunami Warning System) message device and method thereof which belongs to the ETWS technical field. The broadcast transmission system for ETWS message comprises: a release ETWS message entity which release ETWS message; a cell broadcast centre which packages the ETWS message released by the release ETWS message entity to be CBS (Cell Broadcast System) message and transmits it; a mobility management entity which transmits the CBS message sent by the cell broadcast centre to radio access network; radio access network which receives the CBS message transmitted by the mobility management entity and sends the received CBS message to user equipment. The system provides a novel technical plan for the transmission of ETWS message and it can provide a security assurance for the transmission of ETWS message by use of security mechanism of the CBS; furthermore it provides a detailed and feasible technical plan for the transmission of ETWS message in the core network and it provides a novel technical plan for sending the ETWS message from the core network to the radio access network.
