Abstract
selecting a femtocell for carriers of a group of available carrier from the femtocell. the femto node determines the priorities of the group of carriers and measures received signal strength (RSS) of each carrier. a femto node based on each carrier determined RSS of the least interference carrier in the set of carrier then the least interference carrier of RSS RSS of other carriers in the group to define a selected carrier for the femtocell. the value of RSS offset one predetermined margin RSS of the selected carrier can be greater than or equal to the least interference carrier back. the comparison can be performed according to the priority order. femto node is available for the group of carrier can be combination of femtocell and macro cell available of all subsets of sub-carriers and the femtocell can be of one or multiple carriers may be carrier available for macro cellular.
