Abstract  Abstract

A performance for predicting a radio link in a wireless communication terminal method comprising: assuming that comprises information of the second code word is associated with a first code word has been assumed to obtain channel state information from the received signal and the second code word may not be correctly decoded under the condition of estimating decoder error of the first code word wherein it uses channel state information to estimate the decoder error rate.

A method for predicting performance of a radio link in a wireless communication terminal including hypothesizing a second codeword including information associated with a hypothesized first codeword obtaining channel state information from a received signal and estimating a decoder error rate of the first codeword under a condition that the second codeword may not be decoded correctly wherein the decoder error rate is estimated using the channel state information.
