Abstract
In one embodiment if the UE (2) in a minimized circuit (MDT) so as to measure a radio link failure (RLF) then the UE can the MDT measurement information to RLF network (3). Indeed after the UE is added MDT information and to do so in the RLF report the UE report MDT information providing more big flexibility and more robust in another embodiment sensed by the UE reporting channel for reporting MDT measurement information does not allow the presence of stored MDT information and to allow the detection report of the channel and to set up a radio link to a radio communication network the period the UE uses the availability indicator for notifying the UE has been stored to the radio communication network report of MDT measurement information to the network.
hi one embodiment if a UE (2) is performing minimizing drive test (MDT) measurements and a radio link failure (RLF) occurs the UE may add MDT measurement information to an RLF message to the network (3). In effect the UE piggy-backs MDT information in the RLF report and in so doing provides greater flexibility to UEs reporting MDT information and more robust reporting in another embodiment the UE detects that no allowed reporting channel to report MDT measurement information exists stores the MDT information and after detecting that allowed reporting channel exists initiates establishment of a radio link with the radio communications network during which the UE informs the network using an availability indicator that the UE has stored unreported MDT measurement information to be reported to the radio communications network.
