Disclosed is it is available for wireless transmitter/receiver unit（WTRU）Perform multi radio access technology（RAT）Access（MRA）The method and apparatus of operation.The equipment can include being used for and the first and second core networks（CN）The WTRU Non-Access Stratums that are communicated of the first and second NAS entities（NAS）Entity.As replacement, the first WTRU NAS entities are communicated with the first CN the first NAS entities, and the 2nd WTRU NAS entities are communicated with the 2nd CN the 2nd NAS entities.The equipment can include radio resource control（RRC）Entity, the entity are controlled to the first RAT for being connected to the first CN and the 2nd RAT for being connected to the 2nd CN.As replacement, the equipment also includes a RRC entity, and the wherein entity is controlled to being connected to the first of the first CN the second connection for connecting and being connected to using the 2nd RAT the 2nd CN using the first RAT.
