Abstract  Abstract

The invention relates to a multiple hop quality of service control in a wireless communication environment. wireless communication access path exists between the entrance station and the outlet station. directly or through any number of intermediate relay stations to establish logical communication tunnel between the entrance and exit stations to handle session flows of PDUs. when PDUs arrive the entrance station can before they are delivered to the downstream exit station or intermediate relay determining that QoS-related information of the identifying information associated with the PDU and adding it to the PDU. The information can be downstream stations to schedule the PDUs for further delivery. The information also can be used by the egress station to schedule the PDUs for delivery.
