Abstract  Abstract

The invention provides a device and a method for processing packet routing. In one embodiment, a communications apparatus receives a first rrc reconfiguration message from a base station on a signaling radio bearer, which sets a first data radio bearer and sets a local cache routing configuration; receiving a second rrc reconfiguration message from the base station on the signaling rb, which configures a second data rb; transmitting a first PDU to the base station over the first data RB, wherein a local cache route is indicated in a PDU header of the first PDU when the local cache route configuration is set by the base station; transmitting a second PDU to the base station over the second data radio bearer, wherein the local cache route is not indicated in the second PDU.
