Abstract  Abstract

The embodiment of the application discloses a method for switching auxiliary carrier states, terminal equipment and network equipment, wherein the method comprises the following steps: the terminal equipment receives a Media Access Control (MAC) Control Element (CE) sent by the network equipment; the terminal device switches the first auxiliary carrier of the terminal device from a first state to a second state according to the MAC CE, where the first state and the second state are two different states among an active state, a deactivated state, and a dormant state. The method, the terminal device and the network device in the embodiment of the application are beneficial to balancing the utilization rate of the auxiliary carrier and the power consumption of the terminal device.
