Abstract
A User Equipment (UE) comprising: one or more non-transitory computer-readable media having computer-executable instructions embodied thereon; and at least one processor coupled to the one or more non-transitory computer-readable media. The at least one processor is configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to: receiving a Radio Access Network (RAN) notification area (RNA) configuration from a cell when the UE is in an RRC _ INACTIVE state; and when the UE finds an acceptable cell and camps on it, discarding the RNA configuration and transitioning to an RRC IDLE state.
