Abstract
The present invention discloses a transmission mode conversion indication method, an access network device, and a terminal device. The transmission mode conversion indication method is applied to a base station. The method includes: sending a first message to a core network or sending a second message to a terminal device, so as to indicate that a transmission mode conversion is required, where the first message carries first user information and first multicast group information.
