Abstract  Abstract

A communication method and apparatus of a terminal in a mobile communication system are provided. The method comprises receiving scheduling information on a first subframe of a first cell group, the scheduling information comprising a channel state information (CSI) request; acquiring aperiodic CSI for a first cell, wherein the first cell is one cell among at least one cell of the first cell group and the first cell is identified based on the scheduling information; acquiring periodic CSI for a second cell of a second cell group; and transmitting the aperiodic CSI for the first cell on a second subframe of the first cell in response to the CSI request and transmitting the periodic CSI for the second cell on a third subframe of the second cell, if the first cell group and the second cell group are different cell group.
