Procedure for controlling access to at least one local wireless communications network that has a local coverage area included at least in part in a main coverage area of at least one main communications network, procedure in which i) determines the position of at least some of the mobile communication equipment (9) belonging to clients of the main network, present in the main zone, ii) compares, in some management means (20) of the main network, said positions of some at least of said mobile equipment (9) in the position of at least one local area, to select the primary identifiers of the mobile equipment located in said local area or located at a distance from the edge of said local area, this distance being less than a determined threshold distance, characterized in that iii) instructions are sent to a messaging server (10) of the main network including at least the first identifier Mario of each selected mobile device (9), so that he automatically directs to each of said mobile devices a message indicating to his user that he is located in the local area of a local network to which he can connect.
