A method performed by a network node of a wireless communications network to communicate an improved physical downlink control channel, ePDCCH, to a user equipment, UE, the method comprising: transmitting (606) a configuration message to the UE , the configuration message comprising: an indication of a first correlation between the ePDCCH and resource elements belonging to a first set of ePDCCH, the resource elements of the first set of ePDCCH being different from the resource elements used for a first signal of specific reference to the cell, CRS, and an indication of a second correlation of the ePDCCH and resource elements belonging to a second set of ePDCCH, the resource elements of the second set of ePDCCH being different from the resource elements used for a second signal specific reference to the cell, CRS, being the resource elements used for the second CRS differ Entities of the resource elements used for the first CRS.
