Abstract  Abstract

A method performed by an apparatus associated with a network entity for use in measurement reports, the method comprising: causing (40) a message to be transmitted to a mobile terminal indicating that the mobile terminal must perform periodic measurements in connection with a secondary uplink frequency, wherein the message identifies the secondary uplink frequency and includes control information specific to the secondary uplink frequency, independent of any other frequency to be measured; receiving (42) an indication of the periodic measurements in relation to the secondary uplink frequency performed by the mobile terminal; and maintaining, based on the periodic measurements, an active set of one or more cells associated with an uplink transmission in the secondary uplink frequency, which includes adding a cell to the active set of one or more cells or removing a cell from the uplink. Active set of one or more cells based, at least in part, on periodic measurements.
