Abstract  Abstract

A method for locating at least one client node (300a, 300b, 300c, 300d, 300e) in a group communications system (100, 1100a, 1100b, 1100c), the method being performed by a control node (200) of the communication system group communications (100, 1100a, 1100b, 1100c), the method comprising: obtaining (S102) the need to locate the at least one client node (300a, 300b, 300c, 300d, 300e) in the group communications system (100, 1100a, 1100b, 1100c); and transmitting (S106) a common group paging message (1120) on an MBMS bearer to a group of client nodes (300a, 300b, 300c, 300d, 300e) including the at least one client node (300a, 300b, 300c , 300d, 300e), wherein: the common group paging message comprises an identifier identifying the group of client nodes, the common group paging message indicates that the at least one packet is to be transmitted to at least one client node ( 300a, 300b, 300c, 300d, 300e) over a unicast bearer, and the common group paging message will cause the client node in the client group that is in idle mode to initiate a service request to transfer the client node to a connected mode.
