(57) (Summary) In spread spectrum communication, a channel separation code is used for a new channel and an existing channel so that a maximum number of codes can be used for channels having different rates and spreading factors at a predetermined time. Is a method of performing assignment or reassignment. If the reallocation is not performed, the communication system to which the present invention is applied can expand the capacity as compared with a system that performs random allocation. The present invention also has reduced signal overhead as compared to the random allocation method because the need for reallocation is reduced.
