Abstract  Abstract

The data symbol sequence transmission control method identifies a reference symbol in the data symbol sequence (S41). Next, the data symbol following the reference symbol in the sequence is divided into a new sequence of new data units based on the new data unit generation scheme (S42). Create a new sender-side transmission record by mapping the sender-side transmission status information associated with the data unit in the old sender-side transmission record onto the new data unit according to the mapping scheme for the given sender-side transmission record. (S43). A new reception side transmission record is generated by mapping the reception side transmission state information related to the old data unit in the old reception side transmission record on the new data unit according to a predetermined mapping scheme (S44). Data symbol transmission control and reorganization control are resumed based on the newly generated transmission record (S45).
