Abstract  Abstract

Techniques for transmitting signaling for data transmission in a wireless communication system are described. The transmitter can process signaling for data transmission based on block codes, convolutional codes, transformations, and the like. The signaling may include an identifier of the destination receiver for data transmission and / or other information such as data rate, resource allocation, etc. Signaling for data transmission can be mapped to a first set of tones in a time slot. Data for data transmission can be mapped to a second set of tones in a time slot. The entire signaling can be sent on the first set of tones. Alternatively, based on the first part of the signaling, the first set of tones may be selected from among multiple sets of tones or selected pseudorandomly from the available tones May be. The second part of the signaling can be sent on the first set of tones. (Selection) Figure 3
