Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for improving a performance of a radio channel when using pre-coding in an MIMO system.

SOLUTION: A method inside a first node is for adapting multi-antenna transmission to a second node through a radio channel. The first node and the second node are included in a radio communication system and the method includes: a step (401) of acquiring at least one symbol stream; a step (403) of determining a pre-coding matrix having a product structure prepared by multiplying a block diagonal matrix with a block diagonal unitary matrix from the left; a step (404) of pre-coding at least one symbol stream by the determined pre-coding matrix; and a step (405) of transmitting at least one pre-coded symbol stream to the second node through the radio channel.
