Abstract  Abstract

Techniques for coexistence between wireless radio access technologies (RAT) are disclosed. Inactive while the first signal can be transmitted in the first subframe and the second signal can be transmitted in the second subframe during the active period of the discontinuous transmission (DTX) communication pattern During the period, the first signal may be transmitted in the first subframe and the second signal may be deleted in the second subframe. Based on the DTX communication pattern, retransmission of one or more packets may occur via a subset that does not meet all retransmission opportunities. The secondary cell (SCell) may be reconfigured as a primary cell (PCell), and the PCell may be reconfigured as a SCell for one or more access terminals based on the load sharing state or the channel selection state.
