Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless terminal and a base station, which contribute to adjusting redundancy of coded uplink control information (UCI) bits on a per-subframe basis.SOLUTION: A wireless terminal 1 receives from one base station 2 a first index and a second index corresponding to respective first and second offset values which are used to determine the number of coded symbols for RI (rank indicator) transmission. The wireless terminal 1 applies the first index to a first subframe that belongs to a first subframe group in a wireless frame to determine the number of coded symbols, and applies the second index to a second subframe that belongs to a second subframe group in the wireless frame to determine the number of coded symbols. The wireless terminal 1 transmits an uplink signal to the one base station 2 in the first and second subframes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
