Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission/reception method capable of reducing the congestion of random access slots by providing a step for allocating a group to a priority class showing the transmission priority of random access data transmitted by the random access slots.

SOLUTION: The respective random access slots of a random access time window 10 are divided into the three different groups of cross marks circle marks and space marks. The respective groups have different access priority. In the random access time window 10 thirty-two random access slots 11 shown by the cross marks are allocated to an initial access trial. Initial access is for establishing the connection of a mobile station to a base station. The third random access slot group has the highest priority and it has the largest number of the random access slots. Thus the access probability of a sound calling access trial becomes the highest.
