Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver capable of requesting an optimal sub-channel when communication with a single transmitter is changed to communication with two transmitters.

SOLUTION: The receiver receives signals which are transmitted from a plurality of antennas of transmitters using an OFDMA technique employing a frequency band including a plurality of sub-channels where different phase rotations are added to the respective signals. The receiver includes a virtual sub-channel quality estimation unit for estimating the quality of a transmission path when a predetermined phase rotation is added to a signal transmitted from the transmitter for each sub-channel.
