Abstract  Abstract

A communication device and an SRS transmission method capable of preventing the deterioration of system throughput by reducing the possibility of occurrence of SRS transmission or the difference in recognition of SRS resources between a base station and a terminal. In the terminal (200), the reception processing unit (203) detects control information indicating whether or not to request transmission of the sounding reference signal (SRS), and the transmission signal forming unit (207) includes the control information. The A-SRS is transmitted under the control of the transmission control unit (206) based on it. The transmission control unit (206) determines whether or not to execute SRS transmission based on the “SRS transmission execution rule” and the reception status of the trigger information. For example, the “SRS transmission execution rule” is to transmit an SRS in accordance with allocation control information including trigger information indicating a transmission request detected first within a valid period.
