Abstract
An OFDM-based mobile communication system according to the present invention comprises: a system controller for dividing one OFDM symbol into a control channel and a data channel, multiplexing the control channel into a plurality of control subchannels, and assigning the same to a base station; A plurality of base stations which are allocated the control subchannels, load their control signals on the control subchannels, and transmit data on the data channels at the same time; A plurality of terminals for receiving an OFDM symbol consisting of a control channel multiplexed by base station-specific control subchannels and a data channel shared by the base stations, and selecting a base station to be connected according to information included in the control subchannels. It is composed. In the communication system according to the present invention, since the terminal simultaneously processes the control subchannels received from the two base stations by using one physical layer module, the channel efficiency can be improved and the manufacturing cost of the terminal can be lowered.
