Abstract  Abstract

PURPOSE: A random joint performance technique of a terminal which efficiently processes a random joint response message is provided to support the random joint response message of the MAC PDU form and decentralize the concentration of the random joint of the different terminal efficiently into the shortage of the system resource. CONSTITUTION: A UE(User Equipment) transmits the race or the contention free base random joint process, the random access preamble is transmitted to the base station(S1501). The base station transmits the random joint response message of a MAC PDU(Medium Access Control Protocol Data Unit) form in the terminal(S1502). The random joint response message includes only the back off indicator MAC sub header. The terminal regards the reception of the random joint response message as the receive failure(S1503). The terminal is proceed the operation according to the random joint response receiving failure(S1504). The terminal transmits the random access preamble with the base station(S1505).
