Abstract
A handover method of a terminal in a wireless access system supporting multi-carrier is provided. According to a handover method of a terminal, the method includes receiving a handover command message from a serving base station and performing network re-entry with a target base station based on the handover command message, And information on whether the target BS supports handover using a multi-carrier. Accordingly, handover can be efficiently performed in a wireless access system supporting a multi-carrier.
