Abstract  Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for distributing energy for packet data channels in a high speed packet data transmission mobile communication system is provided to re-arrange location of symbols to allocate much energy to more important symbols, when energy allocated to packet data channels is changed during transmissions, thereby increasing a receiving success rate of data. CONSTITUTION: An energy distribution block inputs code symbols of a sub-packet through packet data channels from a puncturer(701). The energy distribution block inputs various types of control information on the inputted sub-packet(702). The energy distribution block decides how many slots the presently-transmitted sub-packet passes by, according to sub-packet length information among the inputted control information(703). The energy distribution block controls an order of symbols inputted to a modulator by using the inputted control information(704). The modulator modulates the symbols inputted from the energy distribution block, and generates the modulated symbols(706).
