Abstract
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, multiple hyperband capable mobile stations and base stations are described. These mobile stations and base stations support multiple super-band operations, including, for example, mobile assisted channel assignment (MACA), mobile assisted handover (MAHO), cell reselection, call channel assignment, control channel positioning, and registration. . By bridging multiple super-bands, the quality of service can be improved.
