Abstract  Abstract

A method for setting up terminal dedicated channel in wireless communication system is provided to manage the uplink radio resource by using the buffer status information of the terminal(UE; User Equipment). A base station(eNB) transmits the uplink radio resource assignment information to the UE(S400). If the terminal buffer status reaches to the first condition(S405), the UE transmits the terminal buffer status information to the eNB in order to inform to come under the first condition(S410). If it is informed that the first terminal buffer state report was received normally from the eNB, the UE sets up the terminal dedicated physical channel by using the uplink resource allocation information received from the eNB(S420). The eNB receives the first terminal buffer state report and prepares the reception of the terminal dedicated physical channel(S425). The UE requests the scheduling through the set up terminal dedicated physical channel to eNB (S430). If the terminal dedicated physical channel is received, the eNB assigns the upward link resource for the scheduling to the base station through the scheduling authorization channel(S440). If the terminal buffer status reaches the second condition(S445), the UE transmits the terminal buffer status information to the eNB in order to inform to come under the second condition(S450). If the valid information from eNB is received, the eNB releases the set up terminal dedicated physical channel(S460).
