Abstract
PURPOSE: An updated warning message transceiving method in a mobile communication system is provided to receive a disaster warning message only when the disaster warning message is updated, thereby efficiently using the power of a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: An SIB(System Information Block) is received from a network through a BCCH(Broadcast Control Channel). Update information for a disaster warning message is obtained from the received SIB. The update information is compared with update information saved in a mobile terminal. If the obtained update information is different from the saved update information, the warning message is received from the network.
