Abstract  Abstract

PURPOSE: A transmission method for CCFI/PCFICH in a wireless communications system is provided to supply a CCIF coding method when the length of coded CCFI is not a multiple of three and to code a CCFI channel using the concatenation of repeated code words and original CCFI bits. CONSTITUTION: Multiple 2-bit CCFIs and each component code word are mapped with a code book with 3 bits(201). A component code word which is selected from the code book is repeated. Through the repetition, the sequence of the selected code word is generated(203). Through the connection with the sequence of the selected component code word and original CCFI bits, a code word is generated(205). The code word which transports CCFI information is transmitted.
