Abstract  Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for switching a transmission mode in a wireless communication network and a system thereof are provided to improve the performance of a wireless communication system by switching a transmission mode according to a channel state at the right time. CONSTITUTION: ENB(ENode B) transmits the amount of reference transmission resource, a reference MSC(Modulation and Coding Scheme) level, and a reference value(220). A UE(User Equipment) calculates the reference request transmission power by using the amount of reference resource and the reference MSC level(225). The terminal compares the reference transmission power with the value which is obtained by multiplying the reference value with the maximum transmission power(230). The terminal transmits available transmission power information, and a base station transmits the control message which indicates the transmission mode change(235).
