Abstract  Abstract

PURPOSE: A data transmitting method and an apparatus thereof in a wireless communication network system are provided to reduce signaling for obtaining context information of a terminal in a base station when an idle mode terminal connects a base station for data transmission. CONSTITUTION: When a UE(User Equipment)(300) in an idle mode connects an eNB(evolved-NodeB)(302), the eNB transmits an RRC(Radio Resource Control) connection request message to the terminal. The eNB receives an RRC connection setup complete message from the terminal. The eNB transmits the received data to an MME(Mobility Management Entity)(304). The eNB receives a context release message of the terminal from the MME. The eNB releases wireless resource control connection. (Reference numerals) (310) Storing context of an Idle UE; (314) Confirming a UE stored in an S-TMSI; (318) Generating new AS security context; (322) Switching to an idle mode; (324) Activating S1-U UL information of the UE context; (AA) Information about S-TM or AS security S1-U UL
