Abstract
PURPOSE: A DRS(Dedicated Reference Signal) generating method and an apparatus thereof are provided to increase the accuracy of channel estimation and to prevent DRS(Dedicated Reference Signal) interference between cells when a UE(User Equipment) receives the DRS. CONSTITUTION: In case a determining result of a type determining unit is yes, a type setting unit(902) sets up information in order to select cell scrambling code string. In case a determining result of a type determining unit is no, the type setting unit sets up information in order for a terminal located in the same cell group to select a cell group scrambling code string. A transmission processing unit(903) transmits setting information of the type setting unit to the terminal. The transmission processing unit transmits an exclusive reference signal to the terminal by using the scrambling code string.
