Abstract
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for communication between user equipment (UE). The method comprising the steps of: receiving a data packet from a first UE, the data packet comprising an IP address and data of a second UE; obtaining a context record for a second UE; IP address and an identifier of a second user plane, - sending a data packet to the second user equipment in accordance with the identifier of the second user plane so that the second user equipment can transmit the data packet to the second UE . Using the solution provided in the above method, when a cross-UP communication scenario appears, the UE will still be able to communicate normally and will be able to maintain service continuity.
