Abstract  Abstract

1. A method for performing random access in a wireless communication system including a base station and a wireless terminal, the method comprising the steps of: in a wireless terminal: selecting the first information used for performing the first random access or the second information used for performing a second random access; and transmitting, during or after completion of the random access using the selected information, third information, which is transmitted to the base station during the implementation of random access, which is different from the random access using the selected information, the third information being used by the wireless terminal until until random access completes, which is different from random access using the selected information. 2. The random access method according to claim 1, wherein the first information is a first random access preamble and the second information is a second random access preamble. The random access method according to claim 1, wherein the third information is a random access preamble. The random access method of claim 1, wherein the wireless terminal receives, from the base station, first information used for the first random access. The random access method of claim 1, wherein the wireless terminal receives, from the base station, second information used for the second random access. A wireless communication system comprising: a base station;
