Abstract  Abstract

communications engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed method and device enable switching while mobile station is in system access state. Channel allocation messages are generated to be transmitted over pager channel of plurality of base stations which raises probability of receiving one of messages. This ensures that mobile station will be capable of switching to other base station and of receiving transmission channel assigned to it at new base station without delay. In addition proposed method and device make it possible for mobile station to immediately transfer to gradual switching state upon assignment of transmission channel . EFFECT: provision for switching while mobile station is in system access state. 4 cl 3 dwg
