Abstract
A method and a user equipment (UE) for transmitting a demodulation reference signal for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) in a wireless communication system are discussed. The method according to an embodiment includes configuring a virtual cell identity (ID) which is different from a physical cell ID; generating a base sequence by using the virtual cell ID; obtaining a cyclic shift hopping pattern for each slot by using a UE-specific parameter; generating the demodulation reference signal for the PUSCH by using the base sequence and the cyclic shift hopping pattern for each slot; and transmitting the demodulation reference signal for the PUSCH to an eNodeB (eNB).

Claim
1. A method for transmitting a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
receiving a virtual cell identity (ID) which is different from a physical cell ID from a network;
generating a base sequence based on the virtual cell ID;
receiving a UE-specific parameter from the network;
generating a value nPN(ns) based on a value cinit,
wherein the value nPN(ns) is used to determine a cyclic shift of the DMRS, wherein the value cinit is used to initialize a pseudo-random sequence which is used to determine the value nPN(ns), and wherein the value cinit is determined based on the UE-specific parameter;
generating the DMRS based on the base sequence and the cyclic shift; and
transmitting the DMRS to the network.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the generating the base sequence based on the virtual cell ID comprises:
obtaining a sequence group number of the base sequence based on the virtual cell ID.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein the generating the base sequence based on the virtual cell ID further comprises:
obtaining a base sequence number of the base sequence based on the virtual cell ID.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein the UE-specific parameter relates to the virtual cell ID.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein the virtual cell ID is received via a higher layer.
6. A user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
a memory;
a transceiver; and
a processor that is coupled to the memory and the transceiver, and that:
controls the transceiver to receive a virtual cell identity (ID) which is different from a physical cell ID from a network,
generates a base sequence based on the virtual cell ID,
controls the transceiver to receive a UE-specific parameter from the network,
generates a value nPN(ns) based on a value cinit, wherein the value nPN(ns) is used to determine a cyclic shift of a demodulation reference signal (DMRS), wherein the value cinit is used to initialize a pseudo-random sequence which is used to determine the value nPN(ns), and wherein the value cinit is determined based on the UE-specific parameter,
generates the DMRS based on the base sequence and the cyclic shift, and
controls the transceiver to transmit the DMRS for the PUSCH to the network.
7. The UE of claim 6, wherein, to generate the base sequence based on the virtual cell ID, the processor obtains a sequence group number of the base sequence based on the virtual cell ID.
8. The UE of claim 7, wherein, to generate the base sequence based on the virtual cell ID further, the processor obtains a base sequence number of the base sequence based on the virtual cell ID.
9. The UE of claim 6, wherein the UE-specific parameter relates to the virtual cell ID.
10. The UE of claim 6, wherein the virtual cell ID is received via a higher layer.
