Claim
1. A method for transmitting, by a base station (BS) operated in unlicensed band, signals in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
configuring different thresholds for energy detection or carrier sensing for different signals; and transmitting signals based on the configured thresholds.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the different signals include a discovery signal and data.
3. The method of claim 2, further comprising performing energy detection for the discovery signal and the data.
4. The method of claim 3, wherein a threshold for the discovery signal is higher than a threshold for the data.
5. The method of claim 4, further comprising delaying transmission of the data when a detected energy is higher than the threshold for the data.
6. The method of claim 4, further comprising performing listen-before-talk (LBT) before transmitting the discovery signal and the data.
7. The method of claim 1, wherein the different signals include a first discovery signal and a second discovery signal.
8. The method of claim 7, wherein the first discovery signal is transmitted with LBT, and
wherein the second discovery signal is transmitted without LBT.
9. The method of claim 8, wherein the second discovery signal consists only of channel state information reference signal (CSI RS).
10. The method of claim 1, wherein the different signals further include at least one of a synchronization signal or a cell-specific reference signal (CRS).
11. A base station (BS) operated in unlicensed band comprising:
a memory; a transceiver; and a processor coupled to the memory and the transceiver, and configured to: configure different thresholds for energy detection or carrier sensing for different signals; and control the transceiver to transmit signals based on the configured thresholds.
12. The BS of claim 11, wherein the different signals include a discovery signal and data.
13. The BS of claim 12, wherein a threshold for the discovery signal is higher than a threshold for the data.
14. The BS of claim 11, wherein the different signals include a first discovery signal and a second discovery signal.
15. The BS of claim 14, wherein the first discovery signal is transmitted with LBT, and
wherein the second discovery signal is transmitted without LBT.
