Claim
1. An intermittent communication method performed by a communication terminal, comprising:
receiving, from an access point, a configuration signal to configure the communication terminal to operate in an intermittent communication mode comprising a sleep period; and
monitoring intermittently a control channel in accordance with a configuration of the intermittent communication mode, the configuration being set according to the configuration signal, wherein:
upon the communication terminal receiving, from the access point, a NACK signal relating to a new transmission in an automatic repeat request mode, regardless of whether the communication terminal is presently monitoring the control channel or not, the communication terminal receives an ACK/NACK signal from the access point for a retransmission of the new transmission, wherein:
the communication terminal secures an ACK/NACK frame for receiving the ACK/NACK signal for the retransmission.', 'receiving, from an access point, a configuration signal to configure the communication terminal to operate in an intermittent communication mode comprising a sleep period; and', 'monitoring intermittently a control channel in accordance with a configuration of the intermittent communication mode, the configuration being set according to the configuration signal, wherein:', 'upon the communication terminal receiving, from the access point, a NACK signal relating to a new transmission in an automatic repeat request mode, regardless of whether the communication terminal is presently monitoring the control channel or not, the communication terminal receives an ACK/NACK signal from the access point for a retransmission of the new transmission, wherein:', 'the communication terminal secures an ACK/NACK frame for receiving the ACK/NACK signal for the retransmission.
2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the configuration signal includes information for indicating a monitoring period in the intermittent communication mode.
