Abstract
A media stream control method includes :the service control unit sends a request for converting multicast media stream to the multicast media stream conversion unit; after the multicast media stream is received by the multicast media stream conversion unit the multicast media stream is converted into a unicast media stream or a new multicast media stream and is sent to the service reception party. Still there are a NGN-based media stream control method a media stream conversion device a BGF a multicast system and a NGN-based multicast system. The received multicast media stream may be converted into a unicast media stream or a new multicast media stream so that it can be ensured that the media stream is successfully transported through the subsequent IP network until it reaches the service reception party. Therefore it can be ensured that the media stream is received normally by the service reception party.
