Abstract  Abstract

A frequency hopping pattern and a method for transmitting uplink signals using the same are disclosed. A frequency hopping pattern is defined by combination of subband hopping which is performed over one or more subbands divided from a system band for transmission of the uplink signals and mirroring where resource blocks within one subband are arranged reversely based on the center of the subband. Sequences as to whether to apply mirroring and subband hopping amount are cell-specific random numbers and are generated independently or in combination.
