Abstract
A method for obtaining random access information and a user equipment are provided. The method includes that: in the random access process a user equipment measures the parameter information in the random access process and obtains the parameter information in the random access process; after the success of the random access the user equipment reports partial or all the obtained parameter information to a base station. With the invention the base station can optimize the random access according to the parameter information reported from the terminal thereby the accuracy of the random access optimization is increased.
