Abstract  Abstract

Channel quality information requests and reports in a case of intermittently transmitting reference signals can be prevented from congesting at certain resources in the time direction thereby avoiding the throughput degradation. A transmitting apparatus (eNB) uses a PDCCH to transmit to receiving apparatuses (UE1 UE2) instructions of CSI requests in subframes having timings that are concurrent with or earlier to reference signals (CSI-RS) in such a manner that the transmissions are performed for the respective receiving apparatuses in a distributed fashion. Each of the receiving apparatuses (UE1 UE2) detects the CSI request from the transmitting apparatus and calculates a CSI from a channel-estimated value of the CSI-RS received later. Each of the receiving apparatuses (UE1 UE2) then determines its own CSI report subframe from a CSI report interval information of a given time interval notified of in advance from the subframe in which the CSI request has been detected and from the transmission timing of the CSI-RS and transmits at the timing of that determination a feedback signal which includes a CSI report value by use of a PUSCH.
